For a main it is better to not corrupt the bowfa. It takes 130 hours of constantly firing a bowfa to use up all the charges 2k crystal shards would have given. If you ever plan on selling the bowfa later, then corrupting is a waste of gp. You will have enough gp for a TBow before the 130 hours are up.Oskari07rs. • 1 yr. ago. Crystal helm is always going to give you the most damage and accuracy when using bowfa (excluding Slayer helmet). For the uninitiated, both the Blade of Saeldor and the Bow of Faerdhinen can be recoloured using crystals from Lliann’s Wares in Prifddinas to match the emblems of the different Elvish clans. It only makes sense that you should be able to recolour Crystal Armour in the same way! Here’s how they would look: You lose 2.5% dmg and 5% accuracy on top of -9 ranged attack bonus. I ran faveguard/bofa until my first purple. Now I got the helm :D. It's pretty normal to run it without the helm at TOA. Yeah if T bow is your entire bank and you want access to a lot more content I would definitely recommend selling for bowfa/full crystal plus other slayer gear. Zulrah for example T bow is only about 5% more DPS than bowfa. Now if you only plan on doing the few bosses T bow slaps at then by all means keep it.

There's a massive difference in accuracy though. In those gear setups the elite void has a maximum accuracy roll of 36,660 but in crystal the max roll is 56,303. So as an example this means the crystal armor has a 28.78% dps increase on Jad over the elite void.

How much does Bowfa + Full Crystal Armour Cost? Just wanted to get an approximate idea if someones done the entire thing from scratch before. I don't have 82 smith/craft for the bow. Based on that, my calculation is: Base Seeds: 1 Enhanced crystal weapon seed = 137m. 6 crystal armour seeds: 6.1m ea * 6 = 36m. Just sold my rapier and some other stuff to switch to bowfa at TOA. First run back was a PB. Makes Zebak much faster. Not much difference between rapier and bowfa at Ba Ba and not having to switch is nice. Much nicer overall for Wardens and slaps P3.
