Some sights (e.g. 1911 fronts) may require a tension pin, or have a set screw (e.g. 10 8 Performance rear). Tools needed range from a good quality file, to a set of aluminum or brass punches (Dawson makes a very good set) with a decent hammer (I use a 16 oz), all the way up to a sight pusher. Always file on the sight, not on the slide.

I love the red dot sight with the guns, but am also interested in using the iron sights so I can co-witness. When my 365 was new the tritium tubes on my 365 would fluctuate in brightness, one night the front got so dim I started to order some different sights but I held off then the very next night the sight was back up to full brightness and has stayed that way. My rear right side did the exact same thing ...What I really want is a normal rear iron sight mounted behind the red dot. On the plain P365, I can get that by keeping its factory dovetail as is, and having its slide custom milled for a red dot in front of the dovetail. I can't do that with the P365XL, because Sig makes all of them already cut for optics, with the cut too far back.

The 507k tiny rear sight is not that high so you won't need a suppressor front sight as long as you're ok with the sight picture of having the top of the front sight flush with the 507k rear sight / ears.
