What should the result be by using the 2 degree retard versus being set a 0 degree. The engine is not very responsive at low end. I estimate with the original bottom end of the 350/290 combined with the vortecs and performer intake, im around 9.5:1 compression. It was 8.5:1 in its original condition before the OP messed with it.
